Vensum Power raises €9 million to scale software-controlled power converters

Converting electricity into a form equipment can use wastes some of the power along the way. Vensum Power, a Finnish company building software-controlled power converters, has raised €9 million to move its technology toward mass production. Its initial targets include electric-car charging and energy storage, with AI data centers also in its expansion plans.

The company says its software helps converters remain highly efficient even when equipment's electrical demands change rapidly. That matters where electricity supply limits how much equipment can run. Vensum plans mass production in 2027, making the next milestone an industrial one: turning its approach to power conversion into equipment produced at scale.
