Ask someone how they process a case, and the answer may leave out the awkward exceptions. Marble Cognition, a Munich startup building AI coworkers, has raised $3.75 million to learn those unwritten routines before automating them. Its desktop software records screens, clicks, and keystrokes in business applications, turning observations into a map of a process.
Marble says captured information is anonymized and can be reviewed before reaching AI models, with processing available in a customer's own computing environment. It reports that one U.S. financial-services customer cut handling time per case by 90%, with settlement offers still reviewed by people. The proposition depends on a delicate exchange: employees reveal how work really happens so software can take over parts of it.
