Simplismart raises $14 million for AI inference software

On October 27, Simplismart announced a $14 million Series B led by Dallas Venture Capital, with participation from NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC, and Micromax. The company develops software that helps businesses deploy and operate AI models within their cost, performance, and data-location requirements. It also enables cloud providers to sell managed AI services using third-party GPU infrastructure. The funding will support its inference engine, orchestration platform, cloud partnerships, and expansion in North America.

Its business model centers on software rather than owning a GPU fleet. CEO Amritanshu Jain says the next development priority is a scheduling layer that matches workloads with available computing capacity across regions and time zones while respecting response-time and data-residency constraints. That capability remains a development goal, distinct from the production services the company already describes.
